Countdown Begins for Startup Entrepreneurs to Compete for Silicon Valley‘s Top Tech Honors, Sponsor Support & Up To $500,000 in Seed Funding for European Expansion
SAN FRANCISCO -- (June 4, 2012) -- ZipZap, Inc. today announced that it is the only payments technology start-up to be selected to present at SVForum’s Launch: Silicon Valley 2012, Silicon Valley’s high visibility platform for emerging technology companies. The event, to be held June 5 at Microsoft’s Mountain View, CA Campus, is designed to uncover and showcase products and services from the most exciting of the newest startups in information technology, mobility, digital media, next generation internet, life sciences and clean energy.
ZipZap will be one of 30 companies participating in the event and is scheduled to present during the 3.30pm session on June 5. The company will present its recently launched suite of cash transaction payment solutions to an audience including leading VCs and Angels. An award will be given for the “Most Likely to Succeed” in each of the six presenting categories. Finalists will also be given the opportunity to pitch to representatives from Enterprise Ireland, which can provide up to $500,000 in seed funding to companies looking to locate part of their operations in Europe. ZipZap will also showcase its payment solutions in the exhibition hall, which is open for networking, deal making, and interviews between presentations.
